Top Students Rewarded
The top five students from each House who have notched up the most points were invited to a special celebration afternoon with their families.
Students had tea and cake with their parents and Principal Martin Campbell as a thank you for their efforts this term.
Students are awarded House points for things like attendance, punctuality, helping with special events and meeting or exceeding their targets.
Year 8 student Nasra Abdulsamad was among the top five in her House and she said: "I think the points system does help people to behave if they know they will get something out of it."
Mum Margaret Titcombe was there thanks to the efforts of her daughter, Levi Allthorpe, who is in Year 11 and she said: "I think an afternoon like this is a good idea because it's good for the children to see that their hard work is being recognised."
