TJ started kickboxing when he was seven and is part of the British Chinese Kickboxing Association, training four times a week in Corby and Thrapston.

After taking part in local competitions, his dad suggested TJ enter the British championship in Ireland, where he fought five others his age.

TJ said: "When we got to the stadium I was quite nervous because it was like a football stadium and there were so many people there.

"I like kickboxing because I like sparring with the other kickboxers."
