New Self Service Machine In The Library
The chance to issue and return their own books has seen more students encouraged to use the library thanks to a new self-service machine.
KSA is believed to be one of the only schools locally to have the new machine, called 'The Baby', which provides students with a receipt so they know when their books must be returned by and tells them how many books they have out on loan.
Librarian Juliet Walsh said The Baby has really caught students' interest.
She said: "It encourages them to be independent and they love it because it's touch screen so it's fun for them to use.
"It's encouraged them to come into the library because they want to use it.
"If they borrow books from the public library, there's a similar system there too so they are familiar with it."
