Your Chance To Play In A Rock Band
The six-week course starts on June 7th and will take place every Tuesday from 3.30pm to 5.30pm in the drama studio.
The aim is to encourage more students to take up an instrument, whether it's a guitar, drums or a brass instrument.
All this week, the tutors from Rock School will be performing to students to get them thinking about picking up an instrument.
The lessons will include help with composition, technical ability and the chance to learn how to play some of the world's greatest rock songs.
The course will also cover a history of classic rock, how to set up equipment and how to make a living through music.
Director of Expressive Arts, Aaron Panther-Howells, said: "We wanted to offer students more opportunity to play an instrument and Rock School is open to anyone - they don't have to be able to play an instrument already.
"Hopefully seeing the tutors in action this week will show them what they could achieve."
Students who join Rock School will put on a show in July.
The cost of Rock School is £65 per student - for more details see Mrs Panther-Howells.
