Luke Auditions for Britain’s Got Talent

A street dancer will find out this month if he has made it through to the next stage of the auditions for ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent.

Luke Overson's mum put him forward for the auditions, applying online a couple of months ago.

Last month, Luke travelled to Birmingham and performed in front of a camera and a representative from Simon Cowell's hit show. He will be told this month if he will join hundreds of other hopefuls in the next stage of the competition.

Luke said: "When I got there, I had to wait in line for about an hour-and-a-half, then I had to wait inside for another two hours. I think there was about 2,000 people there.

"I was completely fine on the way to Birmingham and when I was waiting but as soon as I went through the doors to do my dance, my heart started pounding because it was a big moment. I think it went quite well though. I danced for about a minute."

Luke, who is a member of Sanger House, has already vowed to audition for next year's show if he is not successful in 2012.
