Parents Receive Free Books as Part of World Book Night

KSA’s librarian handed out free books to parents as part of an international celebration of reading.

World Book Night sees thousands of volunteers give out books in their communities to share their love of reading.

KSA librarian Juliet Walsh was chosen as a World Book Night giver and she handed out copies of The Secret Dreamworld of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella to Primary Phase parents.

Mrs Walsh said: "I really enjoyed the opportunity to talk to the parents and give away the free books.  To become a World Book Night giver you have to apply stating the way in which you intend to give out the books.  I was really pleased to be chosen and would encourage anyone to apply next year."
