Students’ Involvement in Olympic Torch Relay
The Olympic flame will be going past KSA tomorrow and some of our students have key roles to play.
A group from the Sea Cadets, including Myles Tew, CJ Harris and David Wilson, are part of a marching band that will see the torch off from Stamford Road as it leaves for Geddington.
Also involved in the day are Charlotte Tippett and Matthew McLaren from Kettering's Army Cadets, who have been asked to help marshal this historic event.
"It will be a great experience and a once in a lifetime opportunity. It's something we won't be involved in again so we're proud to be part of it," said CJ.
Students from KSA will line Windmill Avenue to see the torch go past. For more details visit Kettering Borough Council's website here.
