Basketball Team Rewarded with Trip to See Harlem Globetrotters
The Year 11 basketball team, which has been unbeaten for two years, got the chance to see basketball masters the Globetrotters in action as a reward for their impressive run of results.
The team comprises Tom Martins, Balazs Komarniczky, Bradley Harris-Bruce, Harry Camozzi, Mason Hoath, Joe Edwards and Dennias Muswere.
For the second year running, they won the winning both the district tournament and league.
Head of PE Lee Haywood wanted to celebrate their achievements and thank them for their dedication, so he secured tickets to the exhibition team at the NEC in Birmingham.
The Year 9 team could be following in their footsteps as they also had an excellent season, winning the league. Chris Lampard, Adam Bridgman, Owen Singh, Luke Aridegbe, Tate Barnes, David Downing, Liam Buckland, Harry Oldham, Bailey Greetham, Lauson Kenyon and Danny Hewitt make up the team.
