Ethan’s Fundraising Reaches New Heights
Ethan Ryan is close to raising the full amount for the volunteer Tanzania trip after completing a sponsored abseil of the Northampton lift tower.
It took Ethan 15 minutes to abseil down the tower, which is 416ft high, and his efforts netted almost £400 in sponsorship. It means he is now three-quarters of the way to raising the £3,840 needed for next year's Camps International trip. Ethan is part of a group from KSA who are visiting Tanzania for four weeks to take part in community projects such as conservation.
Ethan started his fundraising last Christmas and has organised a beetle drive, quizzes, lunch and cake stalls. He sold knitted chicks at Easter and also received a donation from the Kettering Old Grammar School Foundation.
