GCSE geography students applied their studies to real-life examples during a field trip to the Norfolk coast.
The trip to Overstrand gave students the opportunity to complete data collection including field sketches and groyne and slump profiles. They visited Happisburgh, Sheringham and West Runton, with students working very hard and enjoying the good weather.

Geography teacher Natasha Franklin said: “Students were given time to crunch the data they collected to produce graphs and write their analysis.
“It wasn't all hard graft as they did also get the chance to have a go at fencing and laser quest. It was a very successful trip.”
The students’ coastal study is an element of their course worth 25% of their final grade.
