Health and social care students learnt how one of the world’s most famous attractions caters for all visitors during a visit to Disneyland Paris.
Sixth formers attended lectures to find out how Disney meets the specific needs of those with physical and learning disabilities, as well as young children and elderly visitors. During the three-day visit, the students also attended another lecture which covered the park’s health and safety policies.
Teacher Patrick Mackie, who led the trip, said: “It was an amazing trip and a cultural experience for our students. We visited both parks and went to Planet Hollywood in the evening. One of the highlights was the firework and light show. It was really good fun and for several students, it was the first time they had been to France.”
