The orders are still coming in for the KSA Young Enterprise students’ tie-dying design business and the latest order has come from the Academy’s history department.
The design business Bahuloo have been provided with their biggest order to date from the history department to design and create a total of 52 t-shirts for the forthcoming trip in July.
Members of the Bahuloo team said they were pleased to get this order.
One of the Bahuloo team, Georgia Priestly-Parker said: “It was great to get the order for kitting-out the history students on their trip. Not all the t-shirts are finished as yet, and we have about four or five drying at the moment. They are looking good, and we are very pleased with the way they have turned out.”
Another member of Bahuloo, Sophie Taylor added: “What is good about tie-dying is we can use the same colours for the t-shirts, but they all finish up being very different and unique.”
The colours chosen to be used for the history students t-shirts were blue and purple dye and they will feature the students names/nicknames on each and the school logo.
Bahuloo’s production of tie-dye products including t-shirts and pillowcases has been on-going for the Young Enterprise students since September 2013. Orders have been received from friends and family and other orders gained through their Facebook Page.
The Bahuloo team members are: Sophie Taylor, Erin McNamara, Georgia Priestly-Parker, Cady McCabe and Chloe Murrell.
