Families of Year 11 students are being invited to an English and maths information evening, this Thursday, 25th September.
The evening has been arranged as KSA’s Year 11 students commence into their final year of study before their GCSE examinations and the evening is aimed at looking at the ways students can be supported during this important year.
Principal, Mr Paul Davies said: “GCSE examinations are inevitably a stressful time for the students themselves and those that support them both at home and in school. The aim of the evening is to discuss ways we can support the students and to share information about the exams themselves and strategies on how to tackle them.”
The evening will start at 6.30pm in the main hall with an introduction from Mrs Hazel Dodd, the Year 11 Progress Leader.
Afterwards there will be short presentations from the student’s maths and English teachers and they will provide information on the courses, exams and revision programmes.
Refreshments will be served in the restaurant at 8pm and there will be an opportunity for further questions to be asked.
Mr Davies added: “Your child’s success is our priority and we look forward to working with you in order to help them succeed and reach their full potential.”
