The Year 11 students visited the event at the college in Kettering, yesterday, Wednesday, 15th October and it gave the students an insight into future career options and pathways.
Progress Leader for Year 11, Mrs Hazel Dodd, who accompanied the students on the visit,  said: “The group of students found the fair interesting and they learnt more about opportunities being offered to them by employers in a variety of industries including travel and tourism, the hotel industry and the NHS.
“It also provided them with a chance to speak to prospective employers in the area. They were also able to ask questions and find out what employers are looking for and about future career paths that students can progress into after completing college courses.”
The employers represented at the event included: Travelodge, the Police, the NHS and Dr Martens.
