Enterprising Students Get Creative
Year 7 and Year 8 pupils from KSA joined students from Corby Business Academy and Brooke Weston Academy get a taste of how businesses work.
Year 8s had to pick a product to develop, come up with a logo and marketing strategy and present their ideas to the judges.
They had different categories to choose from, including accessories, jewellery and novelty.
Some of the prototypes that were developed included a dog collar and a handbag.
Enterprise Co-ordinator Jenny Brackwell said: "The event helped to develop communication and teamwork among the students, along with their presentation skills."
The inter-academy event, which was held at Brooke Weston Academy, was organised by Young Enterprise.
It follows KSA's Roaming Robots challenge between the three academies earlier this year.
