Rugby player Keiran Wilson was given the Chairman’s Award by Kettering Rugby Club in recognition of the time he spends volunteering at the club.
The Year 11 student has played for the club for around eight years and is now a member of the under-16s and colts teams.
On top of training and playing each week, Keiran also coaches the under 14s and helps out at festivals and other events the rugby club holds.
His efforts were rewarded at the end of season award ceremony, where he picked up one of the main awards of the night.
Keiran said: "People have always done things for me so it's a way of helping to keep the club going. I was really happy to be given the award and to be recognised.
"I enjoy coaching the younger ones and teaching them what I know."
It's not the first time Keiran has been presented with an award from the club - when he was playing for the under-13s he was given the Carl Tyrell award for being a good all-round club member.
