One of our Year 12 students is gearing up to take a leap of faith next month in aid of a Northamptonshire charity.
Kye Hodgson, who also helps out at the Secondary Phase Library and in the Academy’s IT department, has signed up to do a skydive on Saturday, 16th May for Autism Concern.
Kye said he is looking forward to jumping out of a plane in Brackley, Northamptonshire and said he is feeling excited about the experience.
He said: “I did an abseil down the Lift Tower in Northampton before for charity, but I have now decided to do the skydive to raise money for Autism Concern based in Northampton as I attend the groups and activities they run. I have set myself a target of £800 to raise for them.”
Kye is already more than halfway to reaching his target and has raised £563.
On the day he will be joining another 12 people taking part in the sponsored skydive event.
