A group of Year 11 Students have been selected to take part in a science summer school at Warwick University next month.
A group of Year 11 Students have been selected to take part in a science summer school at Warwick University next month.
Year 11 students, Beverlyn Adu Amankwah, Deborah Entinwaa, Margarita Salvador and Ramandeep Mayer were successfully selected to participate in the Experience Health Sciences Summer School at the university from Sunday, July 12th until Friday, July 17th 2015.
In a letter to the Pastoral Support staff member for Year 11, Mrs Hazel Dodd, it stated: “We have an exciting few days planned designed to give the students a taste of student life and a real insight into what it might be like to study at university.”
The students and families have firstly been invited to an information evening at the university tomorrow, Wednesday, June17th to find out more about the science summer school.
Mrs Dodd said: "It is great for these students to have applied and secured their own places for the summer school. It is a fantastic opportunity for them."
