After a successful Italy trip this year the humanities department is delighted to be able to offer more students the chance to visit the Bay of Naples in June 2016.
After a successful Italy trip this year the humanities department is delighted to be able to offer more students the chance to visit the Bay of Naples in June 2016.
The trip will be for five days and will provide students with the opportunity to visit some of the most famous Roman historic sites including Pompeii, Herculaneum and the exploration of Mount Vesuvius, the living volcano that destroyed Pompeii.
Staff will taking a total 45 students on the trip with places already filling up fast and are being allocated on a first come first served basis.
The dates have been provisionally booked for the 19th – 23rd June 2016, but this could change slightly when flights are confirmed.
The cost of the trip will be £515 which includes all transportation, group passport and half board in a three star hotel, again this is subject to change when the flights are finalised.
The trip is open to students who will be in years 8, 9 and 10 this September.
A place can be reserved with a £50 deposit paid to the Academy by no later than Friday 11th September 2015.
