Next week Year 7 and 8 students are being invited to a disco at the Academy on Friday, 23rd October and Year 12 student, David Bilsby is holding a disco in Broughton on Saturday, 31st October.
Year 7 and 8s students can buy their tickets for the Academy’s disco at a cost of £4, which includes for a drink and a snack.
There will also be a chance to get photographs taken in a photo booth and buy cakes at an additional cost at the event.
Fancy dress is optional and there will be prizes for the best costumes.
The event starts at 4.30pm and ends at 6pm.
The disco at Broughton Village Hall starts at 7pm and tickets are £2.50 per child and £1.50 per adult. There will be the disco, refreshments and a raffle.Prizes will be given out for the best fancy dress outfits.
David is also selling raffle tickets at the Academy for 50p each.
He said: “I would really appreciate any raffle donations of any kind if possible. I am selling raffle tickets for the raffle at the event, but you do not have to be at the event to enter the raffle.”

All the money that is raised from both events will go towards the student's contribution for the Camps International trip to Peru in 2016.
