Our Sixth Form open evening takes place this evening, Tuesday 10^th November at the Secondary Phase from 6pm onwards for prospective students for 2016.
The event will provide the opportunity for students, parents and carers to learn more about the Academy’s Sixth Form provision, which was rated ‘good’ in the school’s most recent Ofsted report in May.
Sixth Form tutors will be on hand to explain more about the Post-16 provision on offer at KSA as well presentations taking place in the various departments.  
The evening will start with an informal presentation in the main theatre at 6pm led by Assistant Vice Principal for the Sixth Form, Mrs Jane Watson and also featuring an introduction to Sixth Form student life by the current head boy and head girl.
Representatives from the career support team, Timely Advice, will also be available during the evening to offer independent advice to students on a variety of Post-16 options.
Information on the courses being run at the Academy from September 2016 can also be found in the new Sixth Form prospectus, copies of which will be handed out this evening or can be picked up from the main reception after the event.
