Indoor Cricket Tournament

Our under 15’s boys' cricket team has shown some great potential at indoor matches played this week.
Our students played in two matches as part of the 'Chance to Compete Competition' for Corby and Kettering league earlier this week.
On Monday our KSA boys’ team drew with the Kettering Buccleuch Academy side on the last ball of the game.
Year 10 Student, Callum Stratford secured the draw by hitting two 4’s in two balls to tie the game ending it on 26 not out. Both sides were awarded two points each.
KSA then travelled to Montsaye School on Tuesday night.
PE Teacher, Mr William Baines said: “We won convincingly by keeping Montsaye to 55-7 and chasing the total, with the loss of only one wicket and with Year 10 Student, Sven Sartain scoring 20 not out.”
Mr Baines added: “We will now play Bishop Stopford in the league, but KSA stand in a good position after gaining 5 out of a possible 6 points from two games.
“These two results have been brilliant as well as the effort being shown from the players, especially with it being the school’s first ever U15’s indoor cricket fixture. All the players involved played really well.”
