Principal's Update 22nd July 2025
Dear all
As we come to the end of the academic year and my second year as Principal at KSA, I want to thank you once again for your continued support. It continues to be a privilege to lead this school community.
This year we’ve made real strides in living out our belief that kids do well if they can. As always, we know we haven’t got everything right, but I hope you’ve felt that we’ve been open to feedback, listened carefully and reflected where needed.
We look forward to seeing our Year 11 and Year 13 students in mid-August for results days:
- A-Level Results Day: Thursday 14 August
- GCSE Results Day: Thursday 21 August
Key return dates for the autumn term:
- Monday 1 September and Tuesday 2 September:
Staff training day (no students in school).
- Wednesday 3 September:
Year 7 students should be on site by 8.40am. Tutors will meet students under the canopy at 8.45am.
Year 12 students should be on site at 9.25am. The 6th form team will meet you under the canopy at 9.30am.
Some invited students from other year groups (Heads of Year will contact these families directly).
- Thursday 4 September: All other students return. We'll be operating a staggered start so we can welcome every year group back with an assembly.
