Our careers lead MrsThompson attends Year 9 options evenings, Year 11 and 13 parents' evenings as well as Sixth Form open events to provide both students and parents with up to date careers information.

Mrs Thompson publishes a Careers Newsletter every term which contains lots of useful links and up to date information to keep you informed and help you and your child. You can see the latest issue, and all the back copies here:- Careers Newsletters

KUDOS is a comprehensive careers programme which has a wide range of different career profiles allowing your child to explore their career ideas further.  It can also help them   link the subjects they study in school to the world of work.  The programme contains Labour Market information, small video clips and also shows live vacancies and apprenticeship opportunities.  Access is available at home so you are also able to support them as they explore their options.  The handy user guide is available to download here:  KUDOS USER GUIDE

The Parental Guidance website can help you to support your child, with clear and concise information on the choices available to them, such as apprenticeships and training opportunities, higher education and many more.  It contains information and advice on how to create a CV, create successful job applications and attending interviews.  The website contains articles and web-based materials from highly experienced careers writers and is applicable for all age groups.  Click here to find out more:-
