Uniform

Kettering Science Academy Uniform Requirements:

All items marked with a * need to be purchased from our suppliers who are Karlsports Schoolwear (www.karlsportsclothing.co.uk).

Girls Uniform Requirements
  • Academy Tie* (this can also be purchased from the Academy reception)
  • White School Shirt with Collar
  • Black Blazer with Academy logo*
  • Black knee length skirt or,
  • Black tailored trousers (Trousers should be full length, not ankle length; Trousers should be tailored not skin tight e.g. no denim, cord, cotton drill or stretch fabric; no leggings and no outer pockets)
  • Dark socks or dark/nude tights
  • Footwear must be completely black, including the sole.  (It can be shoes or trainers with no logos)
  • Suitable carrying bag large enough to carry an A4 size folder

Girls PE Kit Compulsory

  • Black polo t-shirt with KSA logo *
  • Black tracksuit bottoms / Black leggings / Black shorts
  • Purple KSA sports socks *
  • Trainers (not school wear)
  • Gum shield
  • Shin pads
  • Football boots

Piercings & Jewellery: Please note that for safety reasons these must be removed for PE lessons.

Any pupils not participating in PE MUST bring a signed note from parent/carer which should be handed into their class teacher at the start of the lesson.
Any pupil not participating in PE MUST still bring in their full PE kit to change into for the class.

Girls PE Kit Optional

  • Black fleece / hoodie * (for use in PE lessons only)
  • Black rugby shirt *
Boys Uniform Requirements

A black hoodie for use in PE lessons 

Sixth Form  
  • Suits/dresses can be black or grey or a combination (pin striped) and waistcoats can be worn.
  • Girls should wear smart blouses that do not have to button up to the neck. 
  • All other uniform code is the same: dark shoes, shirt and tie/blouse any colour, no cardigans, jumpers or scarves.
  • Ties to be worn with collared shirts

Ordering uniform

It should be noted that, in order to give an identity to the uniform and reinforce the establishment of the ethos and culture associated with the Academy, specific items of the uniform will feature an embroidered Kettering Science Academy logo.

Delivery Charges:

  • Free to school
  • Delivery to home after try on sessions £3.50
  • Delivery to home Standard service £4.50
  • Delivery to home Express service (normally within three days) £7.80
