Wider Reading
The wider reading list has been compiled for each A Level subject taught at Kettering Science Academy. Wider reading can be hugely beneficial when applying to universities, mentioning the books you have read around your subjects shows your passion and dedication to a subject.
We have split each subject into 3 sections – beginner, intermediate and expert.
BEGINNER – This can be used by year 11 to help with A level choices and is also great reading for year 12 students who are studying the subject.
INTERMEDIATE READING – This is strongly recommended reading for year 12 students who are studying the subject. This is great reading for year 12 and 13 students who are considering studying the subject at University and will help with writing your personal statement.
EXPERT READING – This is strongly recommended reading for year 13 students who are studying the subject. This is great reading for your 12 and 13 students who are considering studying the subject at university and will help with writing your personal statement.
All books that are marked are available to borrow from the 6th form study centre.
