Sixth Form Dress Code

General Notes:

  • Clothing choices are personal, and it can be difficult to make judgments about suitability. Ultimately, the final decision of whether an item of clothing is appropriate lies with the 6th form staff team. If you are unsure whether an item of clothing is suitable please speak to a member staff
  • Hair and make-up should be suitable for a professional environment NOT a social one
  • Failure to adhere to the dress code could jeopardise your place in 6th form
  • Clothing must be smart, professional and within the guidelines attached below

  • Lanyards, these are part of the uniform and are expected to be on show at all times, students will be provided with a Sixth Form Lanyard when they join, if these are lost a new one will need to be purchased via WisePay or the school office at a cost.

Sixth form mobile phone policy

Sixth Formers are allowed to use phones in the Sixth Form central area and study centre to support their studies, not in the restaurant corridors or places where other students can see them.

Students will be expected to sign to say they have been instructed on the expectations.
