Work Experience
All of our Y12 students will participate in a work experience placement, usually for 1 week a the start of July.
What is work experience?
It is a period spent working/shadowing in a company as a form of training It is an opportunity to find out about working life and work skills in general. It will help you to learn more about the world of work.
It will help you to understand the workplace, working with other people and being able to communicate clearly with adults. It will give you the chance to learn skills that will help in your learning and educational development. It is a great way to build up your career confidence and skills – and looks good on your CV and is a great addition to your personal statement for university applications.
